wheel chroming

Anyone have any experience/suggestions on chroming wheels? I have a silver 2002 CLK430 and thought the AMG wheels would look good on the car chromed. Has anyone seen some done this way? How did it look? Costs to be expected? Pros and cons?

why don't you consider polishing instead/ Chroming tends to chip.

chroming does not last. Not recommended in areas where salt is used on snow and icey roads.

What about highly polished? Any ideas on costs and if my wheels can be polished?
