Luke, what brand of 19" tires would you recommend for my 2003 CL55. I am getting some 19" HRE's and need to start thinking about tires.

245/40/19 Front
275/35/19 Rear

I want a tire that is quiet and smooth with good dry handling characteristics.

Please advise.

His list was (in order of recommendation):

Michelin PS2's

Perelli P-Zero Rosso's

Dunlop 9000's


I hear the Michelin PS2's are really good.

I have also heard most people complain about Perelli's....

I am a bit surprised why Goodyear is not on his list. It ranked higher than the other 3 tires on Tirerack's website. I dont like Pirelli's tire compound being a bit too hard. IMO, the T1-S should be above Dunlop SP9000.
