Airmatic Rock hard
My W205 C200 has developed a fault with the airmatic suspension, no matter which mode is set the suspension is rock hard (maybe rear only difficult to tell) going over any uneven surface sends a jolt through the seat making it very uncomfortable. Suspect it's a damping problem, any ideas. No error messages and raising and lowering work ok.

Under warranty the dealer fitted new rear near side suspension unit, original had an air leak from valve. Appears to have fixed the problem.

2014 CLA250, 2016 C300
Please help me find a part...
Merlin1: I would like to order Air Inlet Grills like the ones you said you have on your 2014 C200 (UK). They have a black and chrome vertical cross bar that divides the Air Intake Grills. I have a 2015 C300 (US) but that style part are not available on US Models. Can you get the Mercedes Benz Part numbers (left and right) for me, or provide me with your VIN# so I can look up the part numbers and track them down? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You Very Much!!!

What they actually changed was the shock absorber so they told me today when I took car to back dealer. The fault came back but only affecting near side rear, latest is this is a known fault when they escalated it to Germany and they are working on a fix either new components or different suspension setup. Apparently safe to drive. Just have to wait for Mercedes to find a fix.
