I had a gentleman that wanted to buy my car and it needed new tires. I told him I would replace the rears, but he wanted the car asap. I agreed to get them locally, first mistake, and what I didn't do was check tires reviews from the Tire Rack, second mistake.
Well the only tire available was the Pirelli P6000's...what a mistake. I have had SUV tires make less noise. These tires are terribly noisey, which I discovered when I ran to my computer to read the tire's review on the Tire Rack.
I had the Sumitomo HTRZ II's prior and were very good tires, and a lot less road noise.
Turns out the guy didn't buy the car either!
