How not to loose your front bumper!
Lowered cars, even factory sport suspension, frequently catch their front bumper on parking ties. And, sometimes when back off the parking tie they come clean off. This is not fun.
1) Learn to look going in! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
2) If you hear the bumper run over a parking tie DO NOT TRY TO BACK OFF IT!
3) Instead, ask nearby merchant or two for an empty cardboard box (or two).
4) Flatten the box(s) and force them between the parking tie and the bumper.
5) Now reverse slowly and the bumper will slide off the box surface.
Hope this saves someone a nasty experience!

been there, I know, I have a 09 E350 Sport package, and I was parking the front curb and it caught under my bumper and worse of it was when I backed out I heard a crunch noise and realized it actually cracked my bumper underneath I was not too please. So I had to park few inches away from the curb or the parking ties.
