Brand new 40 year old wheel and tire
I purchased a 1977 450 SLC last week with 31,800 miles on it. Drove it from Omaha to Las Vegas with no problems.
I was surprised when I checked the spare tire. It and the wheel have never touched ground, tire still has all the new tire color markings and rubber sipps.
There is one guy on eBay claiming the best spare ever, mine is much nicer!
The tire is a Michelin XVS 205/70/14 it has a stamped ID that reads TOX084103
Can anyone date this tire for me?
