2002 CLK 430

C240...what is the biggest wheel/tire size

2002 C240, has the original 16' rims, still want MB rims, but something a little bigger, what is the bigger it can go..?

i think the biggest MB rim made for the C is 17"..

I you simply want the factory look (i.e. MB star centercap) why not buy the ASA wheels that tirerack now carries....they look like MB factory wheels and accept centercaps from MB...so they look factory, but go as big as 19".....ask Luke....he can help with the biggest size that you could go on a C and if you will need spacers or not....
Let us know what you find out....I have a C also

and while it has been posted many times, I would love to know the biggest ASA wheel that our C would accept.

If you want original AMG wheels, you can get the Style III or IV in 18's. If you want original MB wheels, you can get the 17's found on the new Sports sedan. If you want tuner wheels, you can go 19's.
