1999 SL500 AMG
1999 SL500 AMG front wheel rim
Purchased an OEM used wheel non AMG for my car before I realized it was the AMG which I thought just meant the front and rear wheels were different sizes. Is the wheel compatible except for the AMG stamp on the spoke?

you should just compare the stampings on the rear/inside of the wheel spokes
and compare as it should give you part number and sizing info. technically,
your car shouldn't be an AMG car as SL500s are generally not AMG from the
AMG factory but it may have AMG exterior packaging (aesthetics but not AMG
engine)
