Changing out front airmatic struts....
So after I change out both front struts to the Arnott ones what is needed to "reset" the pump so everything is working again?

Unless the pump is damaged or a fuse is blown, the struts should inflate when you start the car. It may take a little while. I like to leave the car jacked up to its normal ride height and start it rather than let it all the way down on the empty strut but I don't think it really matters. If your pump is not running I would check the fuse.

Hmm right now the pump is not running when I start the car. It was initially but someone had said that if the system detects a leak the pump will shut off and has to be reset using the Star system.
I am changing out the struts here shortly but don't have a Star computer to reset anything.
Any idea where the fuse is for my 11 CLS63 so I can check it?
Thanks,
Mike

So if you are changing them both out do you do new or reman?
Arnott offers both options and the difference is like 300.00 for the pair....
Back to the other note of where is the airmatic fuse located.... ??????

So I got the first strut loose now and it has expanded so tight it is wedged in between the lower control arm and the top....
How do I release the air to maybe collapse it? I took the line off but no air came out.
