Question Mix front/rear tires?

I've got a 2002 E55 with the stock Dunlop SP9K on them. I'm not happy with the 'tracking' they seem to have to find the smallest rut in the road and follow it.

Since the fronts are starting to wear, I was wondering if I can change the fronts to Michelin PS2s and keep the stock rear, or do I need to swap all 4 out...

As for driving style -- mostly highway, some in town, more agressive driving (or why get an AMG?).

Graetful for any advice...

depends on the weather
it would upset the handling of the car in any type of adverse traction condition and possibly other times as well ,,,,, you AMG's electronics are very temperamental
