Dealer Replacing Wheels, need new tire size
Hi all,
I have a 2001 C320 Sport and the clear coat on all 4 wheels are flaking off.
The dealer has offered to replace them or give me the new rims from the 2004 Sports. The current ones are 225/55/16 and the new ones are 225/45/17 and 245/40/17.
I like the new rims a bit better, they're not plain old 5 stars. So I think I am going to go with them.
What tires are people getting for Summer in this size?

depends on the weather
you original tire size is 225/50-16 not 225/55-16 .... the 225/45-17 and 245/40-17 combo retains the same overall diameter so the swap will be a perfect fit ...

I am looking for something that has a nice smooth quite ride.
Also, when the dealer showed me the rims he showed me that they came with Conti Contact2's and I said something about the Pilot Sport2's, his response was that they would make my car pull.
Any thoughts?
