Do all TPMS sensors have batteries in them?
Some questions:
1. Do all MB TPMS sensors have batteries in them? If so, how long do they usually last? Can the batteries be replaced, or must the whole sensor be replaced?
2. Are all W222 sensors the same or was there a change made between 2014 and 2018?
I ask, as I’d like to put a set of factory wheels from a 2015 S550 onto a new 2018 S560 and I’m trying to figure out if the sensors will work with the new car and how long they might last. Thanks for any knowledgeable comments.
