Falkens vs. Goodyear

I need new tires for my S500 with 18" tires (245/45), and am tired of frequent replacements of my current S-03's.
The Good year F1 GD3's have been recommended. Someone else suggested Falkens.
Any input on this is appreciated about these tires or any others to check out.
Thanks

No contest Good Year by a mile.

Think the MB's come with Continentals so check them out.

What is wrong with the Falkens? I don't know anything about them.
The Godyears look pretty aggressive, treadwise, and they look like they will not last much longer than the S-03's.

Cool

Members on a non-MB board who have used Falken tires report that they do last longer, but their traction is inferior to other max performance tires. This makes sense, since it is the soft rubber which gives performance tires much of their "performance". The Falkens use harder rubber so they last longer by compromising performance. Your choice - sharp handling with good straightline traction....or long wear.

bump. any help on this? The Falken ST115's have been rated very highly and treadwear is alot better. They must be selling, as they are on national backorder. Can't find them anywhere.
I am tired of the hassle of replacing tires every 8,000 miles.
