17-inch wheels for CLK320

I plan to upgrade my 16-inch stock all-season tires to 17-inch. Does anyone know a good place in Toronto (maybe Canada) where I can get a set of 17-inch wheels at reasonable price. I found the MB dealers way too exepnsive.

I do prefer the 17-inch AMG 5-spoke wheels like in the CLK500, simple and elegant.

If you were spending that kind of money, perhaps you should consider 18's.

Well....reasonable to me might not be reasonable to you. But I consider my pricing competitive enough. Let me know if I can provide any assistance.

2004 CLK320
I did consider 18-inch but decided against it becaise I visit Montreal frequently and as you probably know, Montreal road condition is terrible. There are nasty, nasty potholes all over the city. I am sure the 18-inch wheels/tires combo will not last too long in Montreal.

Furthermore, with 18-inch wheels, I am sure I will feel under-powered with my CLK-320.

Harris: Do you carry AMG wheels or any other wheels? How do I get your price list? Which Canadian city do you reside?

Well, yes or no. A wheel will get bent pretty much the same way no matter its a 16" or a 19". Only the 19's will have a slightly higher chance of bending. Recently, I took a set of 15" Volvo stock wheels for re-finishing, the guy told me 3 of the 4 wheels have been bent.

Not if you throw in a set of HREs or Renntech Monolite or BBS LM.
