97 SL500
Tires for '97 SL500???
My father just called and told me he needs new tires on his SL500. It's not a sport package car and has the 16" wheels with Michelin MXV4 tires (225/55/16???).
He complains that the car performs really poorly in the rain (not that it rains in Fort Worth all that much). So I'm looking for tire suggestions for this car. He doesn't need a super performance tire like an SO3, but I would like to get him something that is better then the MXV4. I imagine wet performance and quiet are his major concerns. I was thinking Dunlop SP9000 would be a good compromise, but I thought I would ask here first.
