Chicago Area Wheel Repair! Help!
Hello,
I am sorry if this is repeated Post, but I have spent some time searching for wheel repair shops in Chicago IL area and found only posts from 2014 about this.
I have called around Chicago to several wheel shops asking for advices and guidance who to contact and how to find reliable and quality shop in the area who can help me out repairing several sets of wheels. All I have received is answer: “Bring the wheels to us, we will send your wheels SOMEWHERE out and THEY will give us SOME pricing”
Who where and what?!
I am sure there are a lot of members in Chicago area, can you guys please provide me a shop or a person who does good job repairing alloy and aluminum wheels. Mainly curb rash, nothing major.
Also, have anyone delt with WheelsAmerica? Are they good in what they do? How is their pricing?
This is what I need to repair:
19” Mercedes Benz S550 2015 Amg Package Alloy Wheels
All 4 wheels needs to be rifinished due to curbed edges
20” Mercedes Benz S63 AMG 2015 Alloy Wheels
1 wheel has minor curb rash
20” Iforged Daytona’s for BMW 3 piece wheels
1 front wheel has curb rash on chrome lip.
18” BMW 3 series 2017 M Package Wheels
1 front wheel has minor curb rash.

Wheel Tech in Highland Park, IL (rimrepaircenter.com) is solid. I had a rim scuff fixed over the summer and they did a great job. They were the highest rated around so I went with them. They do the work onsite but if it is extensive work like refinishing all 4 wheels, they'll need the car a few days.
