Luke...Help please!!!
Here is the measurements with the #1 pads and eibach springs
Front
-2.2deg (right)
-2.1deg (left)
(spec says it should be between -1.2 to -.5)
Rear
-2.4deg(left)
-2.4deg(right)
(spec says it should be between -2.0 to -1.0)
A few months later I replaced the #1 pads with #3 pads (no spring change)
Front
-2.2deg (right)
-2.0deg (left)
(spec says it should be between -1.2 to -.5)
Rear
-2.5deg(left)
-2.4deg(right)
(spec says it should be between -2.0 to -1.0)
Now that I am out $200 bucks by changing the pads out to bigger ones, I am told yet once again "cant align the car, you are still out of spec".
All this and my tires are wearing fairly bad on the inside. I have began to get tire separation already and only have 12K on the tires.
I would like help with two things....
A. I want to go with a larger tire profile instead of a 235 (should bring some height back)
B. How do I get that clean look like I have now but bring the car into minimum spec so it can be aligned? I was told lift the car and put larger tires (but I dont want a hideous gap between the tire and wheel well).
I have spent over 1K in cash total between installing the spring kit and change pads with alignment check ups and now I need new tires.
The great news is that the place I have my alignments done (custom alignment mt.view calif, told me to go to tirerack for new tires and they will mount them). You guys must know your stuff because these guys have a 3 week waiting list to get anyones car in for alignments.
thanks...
ben
I know of many people in your exact situation that use K-mac camber kits front and rear and are able to get the alignment back in spec after lowering their Benz ......
