Hello - wondering if I can switch my stock tire size on my 2013 C350 coupe 4MATIC which is 225/40/18 to 225/45/18?

I'm hoping the extra height will give some more sidewall support as I've blown tires in potholes in 2 out of the last 3 winters with the stock size.

You might be better off looking for a set of stock 17 wheels with winter tires. Added bonus you can swap the entire sets instead of swapping tires each after winter.
