AMG Wheels: Serial Number ?
I am thinking to purchase some 17-inch AMG wheels for my 2004 CLK-320 but I am concerned about the theft rate in my area.
Someone told me that there is a serial number in each AMG wheel. In other word, no one will steal them because they are tracable. Is this true ?

There are only part numbers engraved on the back of each wheel. There is NO serial number, but even if there is one, how can you trace it when its being stolen? Just like you have a Rolex watch, how can you trace it if its stolen?? Right??
