Tyre sizes on W211 Ankaa Alloys - losing pressure
Hi All,
I own a W211 E280 estate and the front drivers tyre has been losing pressure now for a couple of months. The wheel has been off, in water, no bubbles, so I had the tyre removed and re-sealed with a new valve. Still leaking with no signs of bubbling in water :/
It loses 10PSI of pressure every 2 days or so.
I have been looking for new tyres anyway as they are mismatched around the car but they are all 235/50/R17 on Ankaa alloys. Everywhere online says my car should have 245/45/17 and all Ankaa alloy wheels I can find online have 245/45 on too. The tyres don't look stretched which I also checked at the local Costco garage for their opinion.
Does anyone know if there are 17 inch Ankaa alloys that may be 235/50/R17 or have all my tyres been incorrectly sized some time in the past?
Any experience on the tyre pressure with no evidence would be appreciated too!
