Rubbing Tires On coilovers!

Hey guys, Happy holidays to you all.
f
New to the Mercedes world and it’s definitely a big difference from all the vehicles I’ve owned!
Was wondering as to if I can get some help in regards to Wheel fitment and I’m having some issues.
Lowered the car on some Silvers Coil overs
wheels are 18x8 +35 all around tires are 225/45/18’s
The ride is super smooth besides the Huge ring on the inside of the tire I have from the Adjuster sleeve rubbing on the tire.
anybody know a good tire size To resolve this issue or Spacer size ?
very much appreciated.

I would buy a spacer the thickness you need, to push the tire and wheel outward.

Only you can measure the thickness you need I would only go out a tiny bit just enough to relieve your rubbing.

If you are rubbing a 1/4" groove into the tire, then move out at least a 1/4" I wouldn't go past a 1/2" unless you buy longer lug bolts.

Measure the thickness you think you might need then order a spacer that thickness, you buy a spacer like buying a wheel you need to know the thickness and the bolt circle that is all that is to it.

EXAMPLE (If I was going to move the wheels outward a 1/4" on my SLK, I would order a 1/4" spacer with 5 on 112.mm bolt pattern)

This is all good info. I would add, you need to make sure the spacers are hubcentric.

I think can get away up to 1/2" you would still on on the original hub that would settle into the back of the wheel.

It would depend on how much hub is sticking past the rotor, I would guess using a 1/4" you would be still catching the hub.

Give 1/2" a try then when you install the wheel take it down evenly it should center itself.

I have used large washers with 1/2" holes to test my fitment, then I bought a spacer to match my thickness.

Trouble is with the benz's bolts, its going to be harder to test fit it juggling washers.
