W213 Wagon (Air) Suspension
W213 wagons have "self-leveling rear air suspension" as standard equipment.
EPC for a sample VIN of a 2019 W213 E450 wagon with standard rear air suspension shows rear air springs (parts A2053200125 and A2053200225), line routing for air suspension, compressor major assembly (part A0993200004), etc. Does the addition of air springs and lines in the front that comes with full blown Air Body Control (ABC) materially complicate repairs? I believe it's the rear air springs that are more difficult to repair...With them already in place on a wagon, one might as well bite the bullet and spring (pun intended) for full ABC.
Repair cost is a big consideration with ABC. If someone is on the fence about it - in context of wagons - the added benefits of full ABC seem to outweigh the incremental increase in complexity if the difference between wagon standard and ABC is a few extra parts. What are your thoughts?
