Looking to have springs put in and have it lowered with 19s or 20s. Polar White with black wheels?? Ideas?!

Which sizes are you looking at? I use Nokian Zline a/s on my CLK 500, they are great street tires and dirt cheap. EBay is a candyland for tire deals. You should specify what kind of driving you plan on doing. A few all-seasons are performance oriented, like the Nokian Zline or General G-05. You may very well want a tire that's excellent in snow, or not at all used in snow.

The Nokians are built like a performance tire, but with all-season compound that won't get hard and slippery in cold / wet, and wear is far better. Again, based on specific sizes, there's potential deals on Pirelli, who is closing out some models, and Goodyear....even German Goodyears. I use more Asian brands than I used to, Yokohama and Toyo as well as Korean Nexen and Kumho. Stay away from Chinese or Malaysian tires. Know which country your tires are coming from before you order. TireRack publishes the origin of all their tires.

I also use some black TSW wheels. Quality wise they are excellent, the finish is holding up nicely after 3-4 years. Got them at Discount Tire Direct, where if you buy tires and wheels they will ship them mounted for you.




As far as springs, imo try some spacers first, 10-15mm plus bolts. That's my opinion based on my roads and driving style.

Choose 19's for better ride. What's your budget? I suggest checking out some online shops that offer wheel and tire packages. There are even shops that will do the tire mounting and balancing for you.

What type of tires are you planning to buy?
