How much weight is too much?

I've got a set of tires that I've been chasing a vibration on for quite some time. I just got them rebalanced and noticed that they seem to be taking quite a bit of weight. One rear took 4.25oz. Two of the other wheels took 3oz, while the 4th took very little weight at all.

I still have a slight vibration at speed and it seems to be coming from the rear.

Is it normal for a tire/wheel to take 4.25oz to balance?

find a shop with a GSP9700 balancer to help correct your problem
