2004 CLK320
17-inch or 18-inch?

For my 2004 CLK320 Coupe, I plan to upgrade the stock 16-inch to either 17-inch or 18-inch.

2 questions:
1. Someone told me that to upgrade to 18-inch, I better upgrade the suspension as well. Why? If this a must?
2. For 17-inch, I would get 225/45-17 all around. How about 18-inch?

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
no suspension work is needed for 18's.

for tire sizes, go to tirerack.com...they have an auto calculator.
