2000 E430 Sport
E55 rims...what size tires
I just bought a set of 18 inch E55 rims with out tires. Now I need tires I know the factory tires are 245/40/18 in the front and 275/35/18 in the rear. I have a 2000 e430sport with 235/45/17's on it right now. My question is on the rear tires when I plus size the OEM 17's it says I can run 265/35/18's but the OEM E55 tires are 275/35/18's. I'd like to run the 265's as there is a wider selection of tires. Heres my question can I safely run the 265's without messing up the ABS or traction control? Or do I need to run the 275's like the E55? THANKS in advance for the help.
