Question for any r129 Wheel Fitment Experts
I’m looking at 17” five spoke AMG wheels made for CLKs and SLKs (for quite a few years) to put on my r129 SL. The r129 is not listed as a car these will fit, but the wheel specs seem so close to r129 specs that I don’t see why not. I’ve read everything I can on this and can’t figure it out. Here are the AMG wheel basic specs:
Front: HWA1704010102. 17”x7.5”. ET 37
Rear: HWA 1704010202. 17”x8.5”. ET 30
Theres no chance these would fit pretty well? AFAIK, rear tires would be 245/45/17, and I guess fronts would be a little narrower. Any help would be appreciated.
