2006 E350 Wagon
W211 E350 Wagon Airmatic to Coil Conversion

My airmatic bag blew up the other day (like a gunshot), so I am looking to replace with coils since I don't want to maintain the airmatic components in such an old car.

I am willing to sacrifice the ride quality for the reliability. My W211 E350 Wagon has just the rear air suspension so I am looking at the either the Arnott or the Strutmasters conversion kits. Which would you recommend and why?

Also, if I go with the Arnott (~$320) kit, which shock absorbers should I get to replace the existing ones or should I just leave them if they haven't gone out yet.

This car is a 2006 with 180K miles and it has the infamous M272 balance shaft gear issue so who knows how long the engine will actually last, but I plan on keeping it until it dies.
