Spacer Questions

I was told by a shop that the 10mm H&R spacers he had would work on the rear of my W203 but not the front. Any idea why this would be?

Any idea where I can get some spacers that will work in the front ASAP?

I think they may be different spacers between the front and rear on this car. I have the 10mm spacer on the rear of mine, but the diameter of the hub was a little to big for the same spacer to fit on the front. As of now I have a generice spacer on the front, but I am not at all happy with it. It works, doesn't fit very snuggly and if you don't have it perfectly aligned when you mount the tire, you will get a little front end shimmy at higher speeds. As a quick fix though they are great and are only about $10. You can get them from NAPA.

Thanks. I'm gonna give the NAPA ones a try just to figure out if I actually need 10mm up front.
