Question Question about proper storage of summer tires

I am about to install snows on my car and was wondering if it is ok to stack the tires on top of each other horizontally with the rims in place. Will this cause any damage to the tires having all this weight on top of them? Also, should I leave the tires fully inflated or deflate them alittle?

depends on the weather
just take them off

stack them up on top of each other

put them in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight and away from electric motors

I'm limited to storing the summer tires in an unheated garage -- which can get very cold. Will this damage the tires and/or affect future performance?

Do you mean to take the tires off the wheels? Is this a must? I was thinking to leave the wheels in place.

Furthermore, I read it somewhere that I should deflat the tires to about 15 PSI for storage.
