What’s this line down the middle of the tire / tread ?

What’s this line down the middle of the tire / tread ?
I see it on many tires after some time on pretty much all my cars since I started rotating my own tires.
my gut says once I see them , they will wear out fast.
any ideas ?
happened on continentals , Goodyears , pirellis … different vehicles. I just thought to take a picture this time and ask.
reference - this is a pirelli scorpion verde runflat off my wife’s 2019 glc. Tires have about 10k miles on them , 2nd rotation.

Maybe an artifact of the manufacturing process in the design of the tread mold?
