Pilot Sport PS2 or Eagle F1 GS-D3
Luke,
I am looking for new Max performance tires for my 2003 W203 Coupe with the 2004.5 Sports sedan rims. I will use the stock 225/45/17 on the front and 255/40/17 on the rear. I drive 15-18,000 miles per year so pretty much a new set of tires per year.
I am torn between Pilot Sport PS2 and Eagle F1 GS-D3
Only $16 between the Eagles and the slightly more expensive Eagles, but the Eagles have a $50 gas rebate.
Luke, will Michelin have another rebate in January?
Of the two, which tire weighs less? I am guessing the Michelin might be less.
Of the two, which would you use if your life depended on handling and short stopping distance?

between those 2 ....
The michelin out performs the Eagle
the Eagle in extra load weighs 1 pound more than the PS2
I would run the Michelin in you given situation but, my personnal preference is for the Eagles because of the better ride quality they offer
