19" wheels on C220 W203 (19x8 ET35 & 19x9 ET30)

Guys

The time has come to replace all four tyres (ahem, tires) on my C-class. Thinking of taking this opportunity upgrade the wheels from stock with a wheel and tire package.

2001 W203 C220 CDi. Stock springs and suspension setup.

Proposed wheels are 19” AMG IV replicas 5x112
Front - 19x8 offset 35 235/35/19
Rear – 19x9 offset 30 265/30/19

Apart from the obvious changes to ride quality, can anyone advise if these will cause problems requiring additional mods. I assume the speedo measures from the rear axle and a 1.5% difference is within acceptable tolerances. I am however concerned about the tyres rubbing on bodywork and/or struts.

Details as follows...

===

I'm considering the following 19” replicas http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...946683017&rd=1

Existing wheels
16” Electra OEM
F&R - 16x7 offset 37 (AFAIK) with 205/55/16

Tire Size Calculator at http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp gives the following diameter differences:
Front 2.36%
Rear 1.51%

Offset Calculator at http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html gives the following differences

Front
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 11mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 15mm

Rear
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 18mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 32mm

===

Thanks for any input. Regards, Dave

depends on the weather
you will probably need to roll the rear fender lip other than that you should be good to go

Cheers for the reply Luke. I thought the rear fit might be a bit snug!
