Ride height with Bilstein shox

Am I nuts or did the ride height increase after I installed E55 AMG Bilstein shocks on my Eibach-sprung E430 Sport?

It appears that both the front and rear are now about 1/4-1/2 inch higher with these shocks.

I have stock pads in rear and "1 bump" pads in front.

not impossible. the bilsteins have the nitrogen gas chamber, by design of the monotube, that may actually raise ur car. in this case, 1/4-1/2 inch.

if u actually put a 96 c280 with 17"amg monoblock rims and a 96 c36 amg, both with same tires, next to each other, all others being stock, the c280 is actually lower...
