Luke, any suggestions? PS2 vs. F1? '01 E55 that's only driven when the weather's good in VA. Do the treads last longer on F1 than PS or PS2?

I wrote this a little while back and still stand by the comments.

Luke,

Thanks for the Goodyear http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...=Eagle+F1+GS-D3 recommendation for my C43. They are very good tires with great feedback and grip which is outstanding. I think I prefer them to the Kuhmo MX tires I had on before and while not as sticky as the Kuhmo Victoracers I run as summer tires, they do provide similar feedback and feel and do so at tire temp's that are not as extreme and even at pretty low tire temps of around 80 - 110 degrees F. A very, very good tire.

Had the F1's on my blown E430 and I thought they were a great tire for the money. Quiet (except on smooth concrete like every other tire), handled great, and solved the tramlining problem the 430 had with the Continentals. If money is no object, the PS2's might be a little better, but not much.

depends on the weather
the Eagle does last a little longer than the PS2 and offers better ride quality but, the PS2 offers more performance in the dry
