Tore Up One Tire, Replace Both on Axle?
Hi All,
I blew one of the front tires on my 2003 SL 500 and it needs to be replaced. The car has 11K miles on it, so there's a fair amount of wear on all tires -- I'm guessing I'm at least half way through the useful life.
I was going to have both front tires replaced, but the MB guy proposed replacing just the bad tire. I would have thought this would have created a handling problem, but am I just wasting money by replacing both tires?
And no, I'm not looking for anyone to tell me to replace all of the tires today, thanks...
