Track wheels

Is there a low cost option to the Monoblocks for track wheels?
Appearance doesn't matter, I'd just prefer not to dump $1,000 into wheels that will only be used at the track.
It needs to fit an '01 E55.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks Luke.

Ummmm ... at the risk of showing my ignorance, what would be the drawback?

Are the standard AMG wheels suitable? I've cracked alloys before and didn't want to do it again.

steel wheels are not as strong as alloys ..... and over time metal does fatigue and any wheel can fail that's why proffessional race teams use so many wheels
