Question OEM vs. McGard wheel lock

Hi,
i just bought a set of ASA ST4 from the tirerack for my 2002 clk. Can i use the MB wheel locks i used on the stock 7 spoke 16"s? If I don't have to get another set I don't really want to.

More info...

my mb wheel locks have a mcgard warranty card. mcgard.com says a M12 x 1.5 thread size should fit.

I also got one of my old lugs and measured the hex size to 17mm, stem length to 39.9mm, and it has a radius seat.

Putting it all together I get McGard part number 28023.

I just want to know if I can use the MB wheel locks with the ASA ST4 I just ordered. Those MB wheel locks were $80 a set!!

I have an email to tirerack, but I'm hoping to get something sooner here.

If the seats are the same, you probably can.I just bought the same locks from another place,$36.How much from the rack?
I had AT Rivas that used a conical seat.Different all together than that of OEM MB.Also the length was different.

Thanks.

$27-28, but I'm not sure if that's a bundle price with the wheels and tires.

I've tried to search for ASA ST4 specs on conical vs. radius, but so far nothing.

Thanks again. I'll check my email to see if tirerack has responded.

depends on the weather
no ... the ST4 wheel uses a conical seat and your OE locks have a radius seat

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the wheels they stuck on the +2000 CLKs. Some fool who owned my car before me "upgraded" and put them on. They're too flowery for me...went and got 17" C32 wheels instead
