FS: Hoosier 275R40/17 Drag Radials with 25 lb 17x9 Drag Wheels; Clears AMG Brakes!
I bought these in the spring, only used them twice, and am just not finding time to get back out on the track these days. Instead of leaving them in my garage I'd rather sell them to someone who will be able to enjoy them more often.
Tires are Hoosier 275R40/17 DOT legal drag radials. Only used 10-12 runs. The tread depth indicator shows a full 3/32" of depth remaining.
Wheels are 25 lb 17x9 ET 40 Rial Nogaro with a 5x112 bolt pattern that fits late model Mercedes as well as some Audi and VW cars. They're in mint condition.
With a 15mm H&R spacer the wheels will clear the 300mm (11.8") AMG brakes on my SL55. They should have no problem clearing the rear brakes on other AMG cars with the same sized brakes and similar or higher wheel offsets, e.g. E55s. AMG cars with a lower offset might require a 20mm spacer instead of a 15mm.
The setup is a strong performer. I've cut a 1.70 second 60' and 126 mph trap on a near zero air density day.
For price, I'm thinking $850 shipped in the continental US is a fair amount.
Give a shout if you have any questions.
