how to take off WHEEL BEARING CAP to put on rims center cap
hi all, i have a 2001 clk430 and went to a shop to buy my rims and the shop was trying to put them on, the rim/lug nut fit on right perfectly. However there was one problem that they couldnt put on the center cap of the rim because the middle piece of the wheel bearing was sticking out too much and they couldnt take them off. it was in one peice, i know most mecedes can just pop out the end of the cap but i am not sure why the clk came in one peice, does anyone ran into this problem before? and how did you shorten that piece to put on the center cap? thanks
