I just picked up a set of these for a song, but the fourth wheel was DOA.

Long shot, but gotta ask if anyone has a spare to sell or can point me in the right direction. I'd rather not drop $700+ though!

I stumbled upon this wholesale wheel business by accident. After purchasing a couple of used AMG SL55 wheels online, I was surprised to find they where actually refurbs, and hadn't been put on a car since refinish.

I found a sticker on the shipping box that showed Transwheel had sent them to the guy I purchesed them from.

A little google search got Transwheel fairly quickly. They say on their home page they only do business with retailers, but I called them anyway.

I already had a couple of these same wheels from a different source that needed refurb, I liked their work so much I wanted them to make the other two look like theirs.

No problem, not only did they reburb them, they turned them around in two days. I had them back in less than a week.

Look thru their retail catalog, and call them up. They carry your wheel and show a price of $415..

Thats an 2006 - 2007 SLK55 wheel, comes in 7.5, 8.5 and 9.5 widths,

Call them, if they won't sell to you, they will give you a name of a retailer that will. But at least you have one source now... good luck

^ thanks for the lead. I put in an order at another refurb site calles wheelsrims.net, but they don't have it in stock so my order status is "locating". They listed it for ~$280 but won't charge me until it's shipped.

Anyone ever deal with this outfit?
