NOS 1984 Zender Turbo rare 16x9 square set up
First time poster on this site, I'm a transplant over from bimmerforums.com
But I have a set of wheels that I thought people over here might be interested in, considering they are 5x112.
From what I've found these wheels are extremely rare in this size, in addition they are NOS, still in their original boxes with all paperwork, hardware etc. etc, and have essentially been preserved for nearly 30 years (paperwork indicates manufacture date of 1984).
Specs:
All 4 wheels are 16x9 et14, fairly rare to find these in this width.
Bolt pattern 5x112, but I have been told they can be redrilled to 5x120.
The wheels have never had tires mounted and are essentially in perfect condition despite two flaws. One centercap seems to be either scratched or the clear coat is peeling. And one wheel has a slight imperfection near the edge of the lip. I'm not sure how the damage occurred but as you can see in pics the original boxes are somewhat tired so they possibly were damaged during storage.
What will be included in the sale:
All four wheels with centercaps (centercaps have plastic plug)
4 centercap locks with two tools (2 unopened packs)
20 wheels bolts (4 unopened packs)
All paperwork pictured, as well as boxes.
Anyway here are the pics, let me know if you have any questions.
I also have these same exact wheels in the same NOS condition in 16x8 et 11, so a staggered set is always an option if someone is interested.
Price would be $3500 for the square setup of 16x9, but I would come down a bit for staggered setups.

Very Rare and Very Expensive
Too many interested in Monoblocks.
I have Zender 300CE but they wouldn't suit my car as it is lowered with Eibach suspension and the ET is way out of my league (need 30-40). And it's illegal in Australia to run adapter plates.
Anyway I do know a guy who might be interested so I will pass the post on to him.
Cheers

I know this is an old thread but those wheels are fantastic! How did you get ahold of them?
Yes the price is pretty steep. Maybe $2500 would be more in people's range who really wanted them. It would take a pretty specific project. I would just hate to see them end up on a "people's wagen" aka VW.
