I have for sale the OEM rims that came on my 1999 E300 Turbo diesel. Reason for selling is twofold:
-We had to use a cutting torch to get one rim off my vehicle. This was due to two of the lug bolt heads shearing off while the mechanic was removing the bolts. The bolts were stuck and we had no choice but to hit it with the torch.
-Instead of refinishing the wheel I decided to purchase some new rims for my car to give it a newer look. I like the new rims and don't think I will go back to these ever.
As you can see in the photos these are not in new condition. The rims hold air and balance properly. The faces of the rims are not perfect. Curb rash, etc from 15 years of use will do that.
3 of the rims are turn-key in terms of ready to use. The other must be refinished before it can be used. Please note that the ball seats of the rim we cut off did get damaged. I haven't taken these to a refinishing shop so I don't know what it will cost to get fixed.
Take just the three good ones, or take all four. Either way, I think $150 is a fair price. Local pick up in the west suburbs of Chicago. I can ship these but its at buyers' expense.
