For sale: 2 excellent condition R129 2000-2001 Mercedes Benz SL600 rear tires, extremely rare find! The barrels are straight and true. As you will see one of the two wheels has some mild defects in the clear coat covering the lips. The defect has not affected the surrounding clear coat just localized to that area. The faces are flawless with all original paint and no scratches or defects!
Condition:
**As you can see both wheels seem to have had the lips painted and clear-coated. One of the wheels has the paint and clear chipped away showing the polished metal lip underneath which appears to be in excellent condition, but one can not be for certain unless taking down all of the paint from the lips.
**One (1) wheel has about a 10cm hairline crack in the barrel. It never leaked air when tested and it does not extend through the barrel, only the inner surface. Discussion with a few wheel builders have said that this can be fixed and balanced without issue.
**SO one wheel has the defects in the lip paint AND the hairline crack, the other wheel is in perfect condition.***

These wheels are considered the "holy grail" in some circles and are extremely hard to find. Unfortunately, I do not have the 18x8.5 front wheels to complete this set. There are no lug bolts or center caps included. After searching the country for another set of the rear 18x10 wheels, there are none for sale that I could source. Even sources such as wheel collision in Bath PA have neither the front nor the rear wheels for sale.
