The metal clamp, the two pieces to the right are screwed in the cloth. The part clicks on the little ball joint. Pulling the spring loaded knob unlocks them.

Two of the five ball joints simply screwed in. On top of the rail is not enough space for the knobs, as the rear window comes all the way down.
