These are the clips that hold the wood grain to the door card. I recommend using a hook tool instead of trying to rip the clips off with a flat head.

One absolutely MUST remove the blower motor, or whatever that is, to be able to reinstall the CTS. What a miserable design. Thankfully, removing the blower motor was very simple.
