Mercedes-Benz Reveals the AMG Vision Gran Turismo Racing Series

If you’re a fan of driving the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo on your PS3, get ready for more fun because Polyphony Digital has released an update for Gran Turismo 6 that includes four new cars, one of which is the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Racing Series.

Equipped with a rear wing, this new virtual Benz is (as its name implies) a racier version of the original AMG Vision Gran Turismo. The Racing Series car’s weight was reduced to 2,866 pounds — a 187-pound reduction from the original car. The 5.5-liter AMG twin-turbo V8 mill has been sent to the gym, and as a result, output has increased to 591 horsepower. Additionally, the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission has been upgraded for racing duty.
