Spied! Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon
Our friends at Motor Authority recently spied this Mercedes E63 AMG wagon doing some testing, and the pictures are about as detailed as possible. Aside from all the camo wrap on the cars, one thing sticks out, and that’s the big red calipers. AMG’s clearly not playing any games when it comes to driver control, so it looks like the stoppers are set to match what the engine can provide in acceleration.
The front and back though are still obscured to the point where it’s a bit difficult to see exactly what’s going on, but given Mercedes has a styling direction that is similar across all lines, you can expect the usual squared-off tailpipes, and the aggressive front end with wide openings for cooling purposes.
We can be thankful that Mercedes is making factory hot rods in the long roof variation, because there’s nothing like pulling bus lengths on a Corvette while hauling filing cabinets, or melons, or whatever it is you want to throw in the back. It just makes you wonder, would they make a C63 wagon?
