2013 Mercedes SL Spyshots
Content provided by BenzInsider.com
The guys at AutoEvolution caught the new 2013 Mercedes SL inside and out. The new generation of the classic will be the sixth generation of the “Sport Lightweight”, and if these styling cues are any indication, it should continue to hold its spot amongst the top roadsters on the market.
The new SL looks slightly more trimmed down than the last generation. The front grille takes on a more upright stance, similar to that of the SLS AMG.
True to Mercedes-Benz “tradition” of bringing together designs and
styles from their different models, the interior of the SL’s is kind of
showing other Mercedes cars. Example, the gearshift selector looks like
its from the SLS AMG, while the dials look like the new SLK.
There are also new things in the car, such as the steering wheel’s
square buttons.
Here are the spyshots, courtesy of AutoEvolution.com, enjoy!
