E63 1, Suzuki gsxr600 0
my E63 kept pulling like a train even after 135mph
but i cut off the throttle when i made sure he knew he got served by a 4 door sedan. ahahathis car is a beast, well defined in sporty way than E55 as all the other E63 reviews say. E55 has good torque but I like the total package that 63 comes with.
here is a quick snap of the beauty/beast.
We need to have Bike VS AMG race day. Rolling runs of course.
I can ask around on the local boards, but then I am gonna get the Hayabusa guys that wanna punish me.
I wanted to race the BMW guy (posted weeks ago), but since then we are kinda hitting it off and he really loves his bike. It would really bum him out if (by chance) he lost to a car so I never brought it up again.

The guy ran out of b*llls not speed is my call....
But a kill is a kill...
I came up against a bike in my E55 ... it was a big bike but not sure what...
for first 20 meters i hung with him and then it was just bibi he left me standing - even as we went into a mild corner...
On a street bike from 80 to 135 feels like 0-60 in the beast! Tuck in and hold on!
Even the gsxr's that are a few years old are still rockets!
If anyone is interested I am selling my Harley to get another ZX-10. New Ninja is insane!

the newer 600's are damn fast...even more so from a roll.
i think our cars would have a easier time beating bikes from a stop...600, 750's with the short wheel base are tough to launch from a stop...then they have to play catch up.
good kill though!
and the usual...just my $.02 worth!

the only way you won this race is if he let you.
As for a car possibly having an advantage from the dig...here's a link to a video showing a mid-11 sec. Cobra (I know the owner) vs. a Gixxer 750. There are a few mid-11 sec. E55's out there.

I roasted my buddies Yamaha 750 R1 in my C55K S7 (again, from a dig).

Ask yourself this ... What does a newer 600 or 700 trap at and what does a E63 Trap at? Game over
A E63 will need in excess of 700rwhp in order to overcome the power to weight of the bike. The only thing holding the bike down is aerodynamics. If the rider doesnt tuck at the higher speeds it can hurt it a bit
Dragon your buddy cant ride then!!

Akara,
Your bike is beautiful. I will check it out! The wife says I need to unload my Harley before I buy another new toy. Too bad the market has slowed a bit for HD's that are done from head to toe.
While the 63 is a rabbit out of the hole, a nicely slipped clutch on a bike is still way quicker.
Good to hear you enjoying the 63 tho!
little bit about myself.. I'm a big bike fan, went through a number of bikes and now own a 996 with some goodies. what happened is what happened in the E63 vs. GSXR600.
it was from 80-90 mph. this wasn't a 0-60 mile run. if that was the case that 600 would've smoked my E63, no argument there, i totally agree.
it's actually easy to beat bikes at 110+ mph on the highway. in a car you feel a lot more safe, esp. this E63 is just rock solid. on a bike it's a different story. that's how the cars with big displacement engine can walk away from the bikes at high speeds.
and you, I am the No.1 stunner.
i'm glad you followed up your first statement with the second. there is no way in hell the e63 has a chance against a 600 sport bike with an average rider...not 0-60, not 60ft, not 1/4 mile, not a roll on. put someone on that has no idea of how to ride and you've got a chance to beat the person, but not the bike.
babying the clutch on my old '99 r6 netted 11.2's at 128mph. if i wanted to waste the clutch it was worth high 10's...STOCK.

dude, if you own a bike you should damn well know there's no way you would walk a modern sportbike of any size without the rider letting you do so. c'mon, 8-9 car lengths from 80-135mph just aint going to happen unless he wasn't racing. sorry bud, facts are facts.
it may be easy to beat a rider at 110+ on the highway but you're NOT beating the bike. in fact, i give the rider props for not showing you what's up on the highway.

Now let me ask you a question. How many riders do you know that push their bikes 100% of the bikes' performance on a highway? I can say may be 10% of the big-balled guys who's ready to give up their lives racing on a highway would only do that. to add on, i was pushing the E63 100% of the performance because it is quite easy to do so in a very controlled manner.

. I used to race 600-750s in my 800rwhp supra and win from a roll but not in a E!!!!!!!
